Since I was twelve years old, I have started having interest for my dream job. Becoming a Fashion designer was not my dream from the beginning. Actually it was an elementary teacher, which has no big connection with design. I have been staying in China until 14, which was when I was middle school first grade. I did not have as much chance to contact with fashion trend as I could have in Korea. When I arrived at Korea, what caught my sight most was clothing differences between Korean and Chinese. As I kept on having interest for clothing, my dream naturally solidified as a fashion designer. It was a kind of a shock to me to see the difference of fashion between Koreans and Chinese when I came back to Korea after 4years of residing in China.

When a person truly loves something, there should not be a reason for it. Because if that reason disappears, we would not be able to love it any more. Drawing is like that for me. I really like sketching and coloring. No perfect reason why. it makes you happy, you are proud of yourself, you enjoy FLOW that is what Csikszentmihalyi mentioned.



But one thing is for sure. I would not be able to give it up. It would tbe the best thing in my life if I could go to a college to learn fashion design and take a step forward my dream. Therefore, I have to be prepared for it until one day in 2018, application date for university. I

found out that fashion design department looks for Korean and English. It was good news for me since I attended an international school in China for four years. I can speak and write English fluently.

Therefore, I applied as an english reporter in and outside of school. In addition, I am practicing drawing myself since I do not attend any art academy. I wish these efforts I am making could help achieve my dream.
